Sell The Heart Records recently announced ‘A 7 Step Guide To Happiness,’ a 7-band split set for release on October 24 (pre-order). Besides bands like Her Head’s On Fire, Neckscars and Time Spent Driving, the split also features the song ‘Fucked’ by Richmond, VA pop punk power trio ShotClock, which we are happy to premiere today. If you are a fan of catchy pop punk that taps from the same vein as The Copyrights and Broadway Calls, this is definitely one for you.

“‘Fucked’ is the result of the crash after the high,” shares vocalist/guitarist Pedro Aida (also of The Iron Roses and Fire Sale). “When a weekend of over indulgence burns out, the romance fades, and regret sets in. At its core the song is about the fact we all should’ve seen it coming from the start.”

Led by Aida and rounded out by a rotating supporting cast for the rhythm section, ShotClock bridges the gap between contemporary and classic pop punk sounds with catchy three minute jams.
