Busy news day for Long Island's Innerlove. Not only did they sign with Philly-based label Know Hope Records (Frames, twentythreenineteen, Vinnie Caruana), they are also letting us premiere their new single, ‘Hell’. It is the latest song to be taken off the band’s upcoming EP ‘Fine By Me’, which will be out March 27 (preorder HERE).
Frontman Ryan O'Rourke about the song: "I wrote 'Hell' two years ago when I was feeling really hopeless. When things get hard in life I tend to get really down on myself and think very negatively. It was really cool to revisit the song years later and bring it back to life with the guys."
Formed in late 2019, New York based rock band Innerlove. starting writing songs with the intention of communicating feelings of hopefulness and self perseverance. Drawing influence from artists such as David Bazan and Death Cab For Cutie, frontman Ryan O’Rourke (formerly of Table Talk) has captured an air of honesty and relatability that is seldom found in rock music today.
