Green Day frontman Billie Armstrong got bored and started a new band called The Longshot. They surprise released the shit out of their self-titled debut EP, which was suddenly available on digital music services last night. You can check out all three tracks (“Taxi Driver”, “Love Is For Losers” and “Chasing A Ghost”) below.

The EP is as a precursor to a full-length album called 'Love Is For Losers', which according to the band’s Instagram page is “coming eventually sooner or later. Probably sooner”.
