“Never See The Spiral Fade” is the first single from Washington, D.C. space punks Curse Words’ upcoming full-length (Fall 2026) and introduces the emotional core of the new album’s sci-fi murder mystery theme. 

The song is written from The Scholar’s point of view, capturing the feeling of longing, helplessness, and being trapped in the worst possible timeline despite living in a universe of infinite possibilities.

Musically, the track is energetic, upbeat, and vocal-forward, pairing driving punk instrumentation with the band’s concept-driven space punk identity. The song works as both a standalone punk single and an entry point into the larger story being told throughout the upcoming album.

To further celebrate the release of the single, Punkerton Records and Curse Words have completely bypassed making a lyric video. Instead, they built a full arcade-style lyric shooter where the song is the level, the lyrics are part of the anarchy, and the whole thing gets harder the longer you survive.
