Curious Volume, the quirky power-pop quartet from Staten Island, NY share their new single “I Worship The Devil.” The track packs a bold and hooky delivery, as soaring vocals meet circuitous piano, chiming bells, and an electrifying guitar solo. There’s an innate amusement factor to the song, playing out like a showman selling his soul.

The track serves as the final preview off the band’s upcoming album Nothing Is Good, set for self-release on November 14th. The eleven tracks move through bold dynamics and quirky transitions with lyrics tackling the ups and downs of adulthood. Power pop legend Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Jellyfish, Beck) features on the album performing keyboards and back-up vocals, and it was recorded with Jon Smith and Ben Roth (You, Me, And Everyone We Know, PunchlIne) at The Kaleidoscope.

They say we all return to our roots at some point, and for Curious Volume that was a return to making music. Originally formed in 2003 as school friends, changed their name to Everything Ever along the way, put out several releases and toured across the US. Fast forward to 2018, a one off show, and the pandemic hitting, and urge to create came back into focus. At first it was just for fun, writing and playing between life, work, and growing families. Soon they had an album worth of material and Nothing Is Good was born.
