There is a new festival taking place in the city of Montréal called ’77 MONTRÉAL taking place on Friday, July 28 at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

The lineup of this first edition includes co-headliners Rancid and Dropkick Murphys, the first Montreal appearance since 1983 of X (40th Anniversary Tour), The Vandals, The Bouncing Souls, Jake Burns (of Stiff Little Fingers), Madball, The Kingpins, Joyce Manor, The Creepshow and more!

Next to these killer bands you can walk through a living archive of punk history with exhibits of vintage posters, ‘zines and archival promotional items, a vendor’s village, a record fair and films.

The promoters behind ’77 MONTRÉAL have been booking punk rock shows in Montreal for over 30 years so you know it won’t be a fiasco like that Fyre Festival in the Bahamas. From the early days of church basements and clubs to promoting 19 Vans Warped tours and our earliest festivals, Ramp Rage and Sno Jam, our love of the music and the scene has never faded.

A zone dedicated to children will be available for parents who want to bring their kids along to initiate them to the scene. Finally, no music event is complete without a selection of food trucks offering tasty food and drinks, shade, picnic tables and ice cream.

Check out the full lineup below and get your tickets HERE! General admission tickets: $60.00 (taxes and service fees included) /Children under 10 years: Free Admission!
