While music elitists might not have much good to say about Nashville Pussy, this band has been consistently cranking out solid soundtracks to your beer-swilling and let’s-snort-cocaine-off-off-a-hooker’s-ass kinda nights. “Up The Dosage” is already album number seven by these filth rockers and it once again does not disappoint.
Blaine Cartwright still sounds like a Southern Alice Cooper while he’s spitting lines that are either about getting fucked or getting fucked up. Song titles like “Rub It To Death”, “Pillbilly Blues” and “Pussy’s Not A Dirty Word” pretty much lay it all out there. Meanwhile the rest of the band is rocking their little hearts out with some well-lubricated riffs and pounding drums.
Just like AC/DC, Nashville Pussy has been basically making the same album over and over. That this doesn’t necessarily has to be a bad thing can be heard on “Up The Dosage”, a solid yet unsurprising album.
Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
