For fans of hellogoodbye or Best Coast, this fun album by Brooklyn’s A Great Big Pile Of Leaves should be a treat. "You’re Always On My Mind” is the band’s second full-length and it’s full of poppy indie rock tunes that are meant to be listened to while cruising with the windows down.

“Snack Attack” gets to open the proceedings and shows what these guys are all about. It’s catchy, laid-back and sounds straight-forward enough if it wasn’t for the sweet little twists and turns that are strewn throughout the song. The rest of the album follows pretty much the same blueprint and make “You’re Always On My Mind” quite simply a fun and highly entertaining album that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
