Seemingly out to set a new world record for being in the most bands simultaneously, Riverboat Gamblers’ Mike Wiebe has started yet another band because… well, why not. Along with Rise Against’s Zach Blair and a couple of fellow Gamblers, Wiebe is – to be completely honest - not doing anything too different from his other bands, Ghost Knife and High Tension Wires. Which is to say, Drakulas crank out some excellent garage-y punk rock on their debut EP, “OWOWOWOWOWOWOW”.

The guitars are buzzing away nicely on this one while the drummer is having a hell of a time banging the shit out of his hi-hat. If you’re into the Marked Men (if you are not, why????), then this is one release you don’t want to miss out on and one that comes with a lot of bite. I’m sorry, I just couldn’t resist.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
