Featuring members of The Copyrights and Rivetheads, Dear Landlord is a band that knows what they are doing. “Dream Homes” is filled with the kind of punkrock tracks that sound like Off With Their Heads or Dillinger Four playing Screeching Weasel covers. It’s got more than enough melody to be considered poppunk but it also comes with more than its share of grit thanks to the rumbling bass and hoarse vocals. It’s easy to sound anthemic when you’ve got three alcohol-fueled vocalists doing their thing and it makes “Dream Homes” one highly enjoyable album that will be appreciated to the fullest by fans of Jawbreaker or the abovementioned bands.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
