These guys started out as Ironhorse but changed their name to Call Of The Void after signing to Relapse. Regardless of their name, they’re loud! Mixing up grind, sludge and hardcore will do that.”Dragged Down A Dead End Path” is the band’s debut and on it you’ll hear a potent brew that’s concocted of equal parts Mastodon, Converge, Napalm Death and Pig Destroyer.
Doesn’t matter if they’re speeding things up or slowing things down for another sludgy assault on your ears, Call Of The Void is always heavy as fuck and the fact that the vocalist sounds like he hates everyone and everything doesn’t exactly make them sound more endearing.
Great debut and yet another solid addition to the Relapse roster.
