Bike Tuff from Michigan is a product of Midwest punk with a fair amount of Gainesville’s finest and some Samiam-like melodies mixed in. On their debut album “Into Shore”, you’ll find anthemic singalong parts along with riffs that have been tried and tested by bands that came before them.

While songs like “Sweet Berry Wine”, “Los Plantanos”, “Oak St. Market” and “Baby You're An Anarchist” are pretty solid listens, there are a couple of other songs that simply breeze by without leaving much of a lasting impression. They’re just not catchy enough or simply lack that something extra to make them stand out. So while Bike Tuff does a decent job with “Into Shore”, there’s still plenty to improve on. For now they’d make a good band to play The Fest early in the day.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
