Only Sibling have announced their upcoming debut full-length, Get Well Soon, due out August 14th from Other People Records. The NYC-based band have also shared the album's first single "And I Hate It" along with its accompanying music video. Recorded by Corey Coffman (Gleemer, Modern Color, Seer Believer) Get Well Soon pairs fuzz-drenched guitars and shimmering melodies with vocalist/guitarist Alex Basovskiy's open-book lyricism to create a sound that channels '90s alternative influences through a modern sensibility. "And I Hate It" showcases this in spades, building to a towering conclusion that's sure to please fans of all things loud and catchy.
 
On Get Well Soon the members of Only Sibling—Alex Basovskiy (vocals, guitar), Jordan Torres (guitar, vocals), Damian LaRocco (bass), and Alex Allen (drums)—utilized their shared love of ‘90s alternative, shoegaze, and emo to create something distinctly their own. The album explores the ever-present tensions that come from pursuing a passion while trying to maintain the many other aspects of life, offering a sense of self-awareness and introspection amongst the cathartic music.
