It's been two years since Massive Nightmares released their hook-filled self-titled EP. The Boston group kept busy in that time by sharpening their live show and recording their debut full length that is set to be released on October 30th. Ain't My World is indie-punk that is equal parts cynical and anthemic and producer Trevor Reilly (A Wilhelm Scream) helped make the album feel like the soundtrack to an end of the world party. To get things started, Massive Nightmares have released the lead single titled "Get Bent" — a song loosely inspired by After Hours. "Get Bent" chugs along with palm mutes that open up to a huge chorus and firmly lets you know that you've arrived at Massive Nightmares party.

"When we started writing tracks for this record I had recently rewatched After Hours and couldn’t stop thinking about it. Thankfully, I’ve never had a night exactly like that, but I have plenty of blurs in my head of times not so dissimilar. I tried my best to capture that feeling; fleeting conversations that bleed into sounds that bleed into streaks of color. You also get some hooks, harmonies, and solos along the way, so that's pretty tight. " - Alex Heinz (guitar & vocals).

Massive Nightmares is an indie-punk band from Boston, featuring members of No Trigger, Little Low, Save Ends, and Great Lakes USA. Riffs, hooks, harmonies, and tons of stage banter — think a parking lot dance fight where Hüsker Dü meets the band from the Pete & Pete theme song, with The Replacements and The Bronx refereeing.

Ain't My World will be released on October 30th via indie label Black Numbers. Massive Nightmares will be playing in Malden, MA on September 26th with more dates to be announced soon.
