Let it never be said that DeeCRACKS don’t keep busy! Since their last studio LP, 2021’s Serious Issues, these Vienna, Austria punk rockers celebrated their 20th anniversary, not by kicking back and resting on their laurels, but by RE-RECORDING three 10”s worth of their fan-favorite songs on 2023’s 20 Years. A Frantic Effort, and backing up Andrea Manges for a full album cover of the Ramones’ classic Brain Drain in 2024! All while keeping up a worldwide touring schedule that puts most bands to shame.

And oh yeah, they also found the time to write and record 18 brand new songs for the new LP True Nothing!

The worldwide fanbase of these veteran punkers know what to expect: buzzsaw guitars, deftly executed melodies, and some of the most locked-in, irresistibly catchy punk rock this side of Forest Hills, Queens.

The first single, "Revenge," is also one of the album's most melodic tracks—and the only new song audiences have had the chance to hear live so far. Songwriter Matt DeeCRACK explains:

"I wanted to write a song that's essentially about self-motivation. It's a reminder that no matter whether you achieve everything you set out to do, it's always worth trying. I think we could all use a few encouraging words from time to time, especially these days."

Compared to its predecessor, Serious Issues, True Nothing explores noticeably darker territory. The songs deal with mental health, relationships, and the struggles of everyday life in an honest, direct, and deeply personal way. Yet even in its darkest moments, DeeCRACKS never lose their gift for unforgettable melodies and irresistibly catchy hooks.
