North Wales-based feminist alt-punk/grunge four-piece Two Tonne Machete have announced the release of their debut EP, Hold Up My Crown, arriving on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The upcoming EP will be available across all major streaming platforms as well as on vinyl. Hold Up My Crown promises a storming, complex collection of alt-rock and grunge tracks, blending melodic hooks, thumping distortion, and powerful vocals into politically charged anthems reflecting the state of the world today.
Accompanying the EP release on October 23 is its final single, titled “Box.” Touching on themes of surviving poor mental health, the track marks a unique turn for the band, opening with a haunting piano intro before diving into their signature heavy sound.
