About us

Unbiased and unwanted since 2000.

All the punk rock, hardcore and emo related news, reviews and features you never asked for.

Punk is DIY, and so is PunkRockTheory. We’ve been running 100% independently since 2000. Over the years, we’ve seen countless sites come and go, yet somehow we’re still here. Not for profit (ha!) or algorithms, but to help give bands that extra push they deserve.

Whether you’re looking to discover your next favorite band, submit your own music, or simply catch up on scene news, welcome!
