Pressure Set shares new single 'Mutant Death Guide'
Punk supergroup Pressure Set have dropped a special track, "Mutant Death Guide," the third song on their self-titled debut LP, out this Friday, October 2 on Dr. Strange Records. At :48 seconds long, the song is a hard-hitting, raw, fiery blend of punk.
Pressure Set came together through chance connections across the scene. Drummer Rob Burleson met guitarist Dom Brining (Bear Away) while touring with SPELLS in 2024, and the two began trading demos remotely. When Burleson invited singer Daryl Wilson (The Bollweevils) to contribute lyrics, the project clicked immediately. They later brought in fellow Chicago veteran Simon Lamb (Methadones, Sludgeworth, Violets) on bass, rounding out the four-piece.
