Long Island's Broadcaster are back with their latest single off of their upcoming album Lucky Number, out next month via Dead Broke Rekerds.
Speaking about the song, Jesse from Broadcaster says: “Lucky Number is our first LP as a 4-piece. We recorded it ourselves at our practice space in Massapequa, NY and sent it to J Robbins for mixing, who we previously worked on our LP ‘A Million Hours’ back in 2013.”
“’Sheboygan’ is a song about the places you’d never visit, if you weren’t in a punk band. We played a great all ages show there years ago, that was a perfect example of that. Most people you know have been to a few major cities, but being in a touring band brings you to small towns that often go unnoticed when traveling and there is something special about that. I feel grateful to have gotten to experience places like that with my friends. This song is trying to capture the feeling of how vast this place is and how important it is to see and experience as much as we can, while we’re here.”
Since 2010, the Long Island, New York's indie pop rock darlings have brought their brand of power pop indie rock all across the U.S. & Europe. Now a 4-piece, Broadcaster perfectly blends their brand of indie pop, alternative, emo & pop-punk. Members have played in & continue to play in Iron Chic, Adult Magic, Tomahawk Chop, The Waiting Process & more.
