Quebec City garage-punks The Carringtons are back, and they’re bringing the noise. After dropping more than 10 singles over the past two years, the band has unleashed “NOISE,” the first taste of their upcoming album, **THE REUNION**, out October 2.

Clocking in with the kind of urgency The Carringtons have made their trademark, “NOISE” is a two-minute blast of sharp hooks, danceable bass, driving drums, and ragged guitar swagger. There’s a hint of The Strokes in its melodic strut, but the whole thing is dragged through the raw, unruly energy of Viagra Boys and Bad Nerves.

In other words: catchy as hell, loud as hell, and over before your attention span has a chance to betray you.
