Upcoming Releases

Your favorite geeky pop punk band is back in action. Nerf Herder released “Sorry [redux]” today (Feb. 26), offering fans of the beloved band a freshly reimagined take on the classic track. In addition to the single, the band revealed they’ll be reimagining their entire self-titled album in honor of its 30th anniversary, with the revamped release set to arrive later this spring on Fat Wreck Chords. [Redux] is slated to hit shelves and streaming services this May 29, 2026.
Nerf Herder Shares of the New Song:
“I always thought sorry should have been the first single. It’s funny, but also has some darkness in it. It’s timeless. It’s a story that everyone can relate to about regretting acting impulsively about something or someone you’re passionate about.” -Parry Gripp
Nerf Herder Shares of the Forthcoming Album:
“30 years since the release of our first album?! That is truly mind-blowing. Let’s celebrate! In addition to some anniversary shows, we decided a new release would be fun. For years, fans have been demanding a vinyl repress of the record. Because we don’t own the masters, we decided to avoid the daunting task of corporate licensing. We had discussed re-recording the album in the past, but the idea felt icky. The raw magic we created with producers Joey Cape and Ryan Greene would be impossible to reproduce. Ryan employed serious voodoo in manifesting Parry’s guitar tone - that alone is irreplaceable! We eventually agreed that an acoustic reimagining of the album was the best approach. We asked our longtime friend, Thom Flowers, to co-produce, engineer, and mix what became [redux].” -Steve Sherlock
