Heavy pop punk/hardcore newcomers Homebase have released “Nuff Said,” their blistering and emotionally charged new single. You can stream it here.

Formed in the summer of 2023, Homebase was born from the end of an era and the beginning of something louder, faster, and more focused. What started as a friendly gathering—equal parts jamming, pizza, and an unhealthy amount of alcohol—quickly turned into a band once the chemistry became impossible to ignore. Sitting squarely between New Jersey and New York, Homebase set out to channel the urgency of hardcore with the hook-driven punch of pop punk, striving for a sound that feels both aggressive and anthemic.

After being discovered in the live underground scene of New Brunswick, NJ, the band began building a reputation through raw, high-energy performances and an unfiltered connection with their audience. That same intensity fuels “Nuff Said,” a song that captures Homebase at their most honest and driven—confronting self-doubt, creative pressure, and the growing pains of being a new band finding its footing.

According to vocalist Antonio Valentino, “Nuff Said” emerged organically from an overwhelming flood of early ideas. While demoing material for a potential EP, one track—initially written by drummer Chris Ochoa—slowly revealed itself as the foundation for something bigger. Through rewrites, key changes, and repeated collaboration, it evolved into the song that now defines the band’s creative core.

“Out of all the songs we have written, I believe ‘Nuff Said’ is the core of what we wanted to accomplish in our songwriting,” says Valentino. “The lyrics reflect our work ethic as a new band, especially in the midst of inadequacy that constantly nagged at us. That mindset can really damage how you view yourself—music becomes less inspiring, friendships feel strained, and even congratulating others can feel twisted. This song was our chance to confront those feelings head-on. It’s not about who you are that defines you—it’s about what you do. We love the hype it brings, and we couldn’t be more proud to finally share it.”
