West Michigan's Red Arrow Highway have shared a video for their new single, 'Realists'. Channeling a love for Bruce Springsteen, guitar solos and light beer, the band plays a melodic blend of alt-rock and punk with moments both somber and electric. They released their first album, Brothers Never Die, in May of 2022, as a two-piece, and collected friends later that summer to start performing live and writing new music.

Red Arrow Highway began as Justin Suarez and Nate Johnivan sending songs back and forth in 2020 after years of playing in bands together. Their first album, Brothers Never Die, was recorded by Justin and Nate, mixed and mastered by Will Beasley, and released independently in 2022. Shortly thereafter, the two asked friends and former bandmates Dave Daniele, Jason Kienke, John Buchta, and Matty Weaver to join them on bass, drums, guitar, and keys for live shows. They played their first show in April of 2023, opening for The Dirty Nil, and have played shows all over Michigan with friends in Bong Mountain, Distants, The Pandys, EASERS, Bike Tuff, RTNR, and more. In 2024, they began working on their sophomore album, Be Someone Better, and joined with Self Aware Records to release it on vinyl later this year.

Their music reflects an admiration for classic rock in the vein of Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, and a love for bands like Bright Eyes, The Gaslight Anthem, The Menzingers, and more. Their biggest influences are spelling words correctly, the channel between Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan, looking down at fresh powder from a chairlift, and all of the musicians whose albums they've sat in the car and screamed along with.
