Radioactivity have dropped their new single “Why”, taken from their upcoming album Time Won’t Bring Me Down, due out October 31 via Dirtnap Records (North America) and Wild Honey Records (Europe).
The LP marks the band’s first full-length release in a decade, following 2015’s Silent Kill. Recorded over several years, the record sees Jeff Burke (The Marked Men, The Reds, Lost Balloons) joined by Mark Ryan, Daniel Fried, and Gregory Rutherford for 11 tracks of tightly wound, hook-heavy punk rock.
Though “Why” is only now getting a studio release, it’s long been a staple of Radioactivity’s live shows. On record, it delivers the urgency, sharp melodies, and raw emotion that have become Burke’s signature.
Time Won’t Bring Me Down promises both high-velocity burners and moodier, more expansive moments, showcasing a band evolving while staying true to its roots
