Bridle, a new name for most listeners, joined forces with White Russian Records last month and have now released their label-debut single 'Bai Lan'. The single also features the song "Detached", the band's debut track that was released late May. Both tracks are taken from BRIDLE's upcoming EP "Never Meant For You Anyway" that will be out later in the year. Bridle, formed in 2024 by (ex) members of Steele Justice, Lost From The Start and Traffico is a punk rock band that draws influences from 90's and 00's emo with a hint of shoegaze, grunge and hardcore.

For the song 'Bai Lan' the band enlisted the vocal help of Rob Fowler of Doghead. "We asked our friend Rob (Doghead, xNullifyx) to make a guest appearance on this song. We met him on Twitch and bonded over our shared love of hardcore and videogames (mostly videogames). After years of sharing demos of our upcoming releases, it was about time we did a collaboration!" says the band.

Bai Lan (literally translated: let it rot) talks about the subject of an emerging movement among Chinese youth that rejects the norms of present day society.).
