San Francisco punk outfit M.U.T.T. has dropped their searing new single 'Runnin’ With The Devil,' a snarling, high-octane anthem about embracing sin, seizing chaos, and stepping into the Devil’s shoes to rule the underworld. The track offers a fierce taste of the band’s upcoming album Toughest Street In Town, set for release June 20 via Quiet Panic.

The new record is a love letter to the band’s gritty San Francisco neighborhood that many avoid, but where M.U.T.T. draws strength from. Or as Frontman John Jr.puts it:

"I don’t fear my neighborhood, I am inspired by it. I find myself thriving in the mayhem. I walk around the blocks at night ’cause I know I can take care of myself. You gotta have a tough presence and a tough mind in order to survive in this part of the city. Some of you couldn’t last a week on my street. Maybe that’s why I love it so much.”

Formed from the ashes of Culture Abuse, M.U.T.T. features John Jr., Matt Walker, Isa Anderson, and Shane Plitt, four seasoned punks with nothing to prove and nothing to lose. Their 2022 debut Bad To The Bone was praised for its stripped-down, four-chord fury and no-frills attitude. M.U.T.T. proudly carries the torch of San Francisco’s underground rock lineage, from the swagger of The Flamin’ Groovies to the emotional grit of Jawbreaker.
