Samuel S.C. releases 'Get Red' to benefit Equal Justice Initiative

Samuel S.C. (FKA Samuel) have released their new single, “Get Red,” with proceeds from digital sales being donated to the Equal Justice Initiative, supporting its work addressing mass incarceration, racial and economic injustice, and human rights. The new single follows recent tracks “Push the Needle” and “Another Good Lie,” continuing the band’s current run of new material.

All three songs were recorded and mixed in 2025 by J. Robbins at his Baltimore studio, Magpie Cage. “Get Red” reflects the band’s ongoing approach, drawing from ’90s indie rock and punk influences without adhering to a specific sub-genre.

The current lineup includes Vanessa Downing (vocals), Eric Astor (drums), James Marinelli (guitar/vocals), Dean Taormina (guitar), and Michael Honch (bass). A new full-length album is expected in late 2026 via Expert Work Records and Sweet Cheetah Records.
