Wilkes-Barre post-hardcore band One Step Closer has announced their new album, Zero, scheduled for release on February 19 via Run For Cover Records. Along with the announcement, the band released two singles: “Blue Hour” and “Was It Ever Enough?”.

The record focuses thematically on catharsis and processing difficult experiences, mirroring the energetic and emotive style of their live performances.

Both singles are accompanied by band-directed music videos that share a visual connection. “Blue Hour” builds to a heavy climax, paired with a dusk-set video showing the band performing on a homemade skate ramp with DIY pyrotechnics. Set at sunrise in Wilkes-Barre, “Was It Ever Enough?” features fast-tempo rhythms and sharp guitar riffs that transition into a melodic vocal outro.
