We are very happy to premiere the video for the latest The Dead Krazukies single, 'The Sun'. The song is taken off the band's recently released album, 'Icarus,' which came out late last year on SBÄM Records & Sound Speed Records.
"'The Sun' is a modern interpretation of the Icarus myth," explains the band. "Our lives are dictated by society, politics, social media and blind us like a thousand suns. It’s a song about relativism on what we see or hear all day long. The music video refers directly to that using a no face character on his way to fly to the sun. He learns the hard way he shouldn’t fly near to it."
Ever since forming in 2010 in the French seaside resort that is Hossegor (said to have some of the best surfing in the world), The Dead Krazukies have been blazing through the skatecore scene with their 2012 demo and 2016's debut album 'The Northern Belle'. Most recently, the five-piece released 'Icarus,' easily their most accomplished release to date that sounds like Brody Dalle fronting a modern version of an EpiFat band from back in the day. A fresh twist on a classic sound.
