Civil Defense has returned with their new single “Asylum Life,” featured on their EP Full Circle released via Rebel Noise Records.
Emerging originally from the mid-1980s Los Angeles San Gabriel Valley punk scene, the teenage band played high-velocity hardcore in dirt yards and warehouses before scattering into the margins of LA punk history without ever releasing a track.
Decades later, the members reunited naturally, digging up their unpolished mid-80s catalog and heading into the studio to capture their raw signature sound with modern precision. The resulting release captures the sound and fury of their youth executed with mature focus.
