Four years after their last EP, Halifax, Nova Scotia’s Weekend Dads are on another 4-song bender. Recorded at Ocean Floor in Halifax with engineer Charles Austin, mixing by Justin Yates and mastering courtesy of Squirtgun's Mass Giorgini, ‘Good Hangs’ finds the foursome further blurring the lines between classic pop-punk and the gruffier, Fest version of pop punk and molding it into this incredibly tasty mix that comes with more hooks and ooh’s and aah’s than you thought possible in just ten minutes. Try and think of a middle ground between Banner Pilot and ‘Dude Ranch’ era Blink if that makes sense?

I heard rumblings about a full-length that would be out at some point. If it’s anywhere near as much fun as ‘Good Hangs’, you can count me in!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
