Up until now, I didn't think of Athens, Greece as the place I associate with great noise bands. But after having heard ‘The Art Of Fatigue’, I stand corrected.

Krause  is what happens when four guys shove their mezzes to the side and channel their collective contempt for humanity through an AmRep/Touch and Go filter. The result? Eleven songs worth of excellent noise rock that made me think of Unsane and Cherubs with a sprinkling of Helmet to top it all off. In other words, not the kind of music you want to add to your Soothing Sundays playlist.

Featuring active and past members of bands such as VULNUS, Cut off, Rita Mosss, Casual Nun, Progress of Inhumanity, Dusteroid and Straighthate, these guys have a ton of experience in creating atmospheres and pummeling the listener into submission. Which is exactly what they do on cuts like opener ‘Ignorant Acts of Crippled Vision’, ‘The Stuff Of Tired Eyes’ and ‘Ceremonial Aspects of Everyday Bloodbaths’. Great stuff!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
