Victory Records recently re-released Jungle Rot’s debut “Sking The Living”, which was a delightful blast of death metal that was released 18 years ago. Jungle Rot is still around though and even released a new album called “Terror Regime”.

The drums are played with clinical precision while the guitars shred away, making room only for the occasional solo. It’s predictable as hell but still kinda fun to listen to while banging your head like crazy. Pretty much the only thing that these guys changed in 18 years is that they continue to inject their material with more and more thrash influences. As a result, the cover of D.R.I.’s ‘I Don’t Need Society” shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
