Swedish punk rockers Old Thieves have released their single, “Creaking Stair.” Composed by Tobias Jakobsson, the track serves as the third single leading up to the band’s upcoming album. Mixed by Christoffer from the Scandinavian horror punk band The Dahmers, “Creaking Stair” delivers high-energy, explosive punk rock driven by rock ‘n’ roll grit and big melodic hooks that will appeal to fans of The Hives and Rancid.
Hailing from the rugged coast of Blekinge, Sweden, Old Thieves is made up of early 2000s underground scene veterans (Sodomy Soldiers, On the Job, Före Stormen) who have formed a tight, melodic engine since their live debut in 2022. The band features Tobias Jakobsson on vocals and guitar, Marcus Johansson on bass and vocals, Temo Johansson on guitar and backing vocals, and Emil Fransson on drums.
