Australia’s Pitt The Elder hit the ground running two years ago, released their first full album a little over a year ago and are back already with the sequel, “Radio Silence”. Their sophomore album comes with fourteen more cuts of melodic 90ies style pop-punk. That might seem like a lot, but they like to keep their songs short so the album is over before you know it.

Pitt The Elder have the melodic hooks down pat, attack their songs with plenty of vigor and vocalist Em has this bounce in her voice that suits the music to a T. Personally, I could have done without the guitar bends in “Today’s Crushes, Tomorrow’s Pashes” and you’d be hard-pressed to call this original, but “Radio Silence” is a fun listen regardless. Think fellow Aussies Bodyjar or bands like Pulley.
