“Abandon All Life” lives up to its title… after Nails has unleashed their ten songs in seventeen minutes, you’ll be done for. With a vocalist that does nothing but scream, guitars that try to test the boundaries of the amount of noise guitars can make and a drummer that keeps on pounding away, this powerviolence outfit doesn’t relent. It’s pretty much like a wall that’s coming down on you.

So why on earth would you wanna listen to something like it? I dunno but it’s fucking good! The way they keep hammering out those riffs or incorporate a sludgy break is just awesome. And I’m pretty sure that underneath all the noise and gnarly screams, there’s actually a hook or two to be found.
