Eyeconoclast is an Italian band that likes their death metal technical yet melodic while screaming something about a robot uprising… I think. Understanding the lyrics on a death metal album has never been an easy feat.

So far, so good… yet Eyeconoclast seems content playing standard death metal fare without adding anything new or showing a face of their own. It’s not bad but shit, who wants to hear rehashed death metal when there are so many better bands around? Even the song titles sound like they were stolen from Fear Factory’s notebook. I mean, “Rise Of The Orgamechanism”… seriously?
