Halloween might be upon us but Cruiser’s self-titled EP will quickly make you forget that it’s the most favourable time of the year for those of us who are thinking about suicide. I’d suggest those folks listen to this EP so at the very least they’ll go out with a smile plastered on their faces.

All the melodies, cute sounds and singalong choruses on here come courtesy of Alan States, who lives in Philadelphia despite sounding decidedly Californian. The only downside of this EP is that it’s next to impossible to get songs such as “The Fritz” and “Don’t Go Alone” out of your head… think sunshine, beaches and cruising down the highway!
