SBÄM Records and Double Helix Records are  proud to announce the return of UK punk rock powerhouses Templeton Pek with their highly anticipated new album Savages, set for release on October 3, 2025. The band have just dropped their blistering new single “Artifact”.

Fresh off the back of touring with legends Bodyjar, Urethane, Hell is for Heroes, and a sold-out Slam Dunk side show with Less Than Jake in their hometown of Birmingham, Templeton Pek continue their charge with a song that captures the urgency of the times.

Caught between the space of rage and beauty, “Artifact” combines a rousing, chant-ready chorus with monster riffs and confrontational lyrics dismantling the zeitgeist of today. The track showcases the band’s expanded sonic spectrum—written with one eye firmly on festival stages, where fans are sure to be shouting every word back.

Formed in Birmingham, the trio—Neal Mitchell (vocals/bass), Kev Green (guitar), and Jon Keen (drums)—have spent the past decade establishing themselves as one of the UK’s hardest-working punk bands. With a reputation for fiery live shows and anthemic, hook-driven songwriting, they’ve shared stages with Rise Against, Bad Religion, Sum 41, The Offspring, NOFX, Alkaline Trio, Pennywise, and more, while storming festivals including Punk Rock Holiday (SI), Slam Dunk (UK), Jera On Air (NL), Brakrock (BE), Mighty Sounds (CZ), Rebellion (UK), Open Flair (DE), and SBÄM Fest (AT).

Their upcoming album Savages is their boldest statement yet: heavier, darker, and more politically charged, while never losing the melodic core that defines Templeton Pek. Recorded earlier this year, the album rages against division and apathy while offering defiance and unity in equal measure across twelve uncompromising tracks.

“Savages is the record we’ve been wanting to make for years,” says frontman Neal Mitchell. “It’s loud, it’s pissed off, but it’s also about unity. These songs are for anyone who’s ever felt like they’ve had to stand up and shout to be heard.”
