After three years of building a name for themselves in the Ontario music scene, punk trio Full Throttle has released their newest single, “Generation Of Tomorrow.”

The track marks a major milestone for the young trio, featuring co-writing, production, and guest vocals from Cone McCaslin, bassist and longtime member of Sum 41. The track was mixed by award-winning engineer Eric Ratz and mastered by Kristian Montano for DECM Records.

For band members Max McGill (guitar/vocals), Evan Levite (bass), and Kaelin Caron (drums), collaborating with McCaslin brings their early influences full circle. Growing up on seminal late-90s and 2000s punk acts like Sum 41, blink-182, and NOFX, working directly with a member of one of those foundational bands was a formative experience.

“Getting to work with Cone is honestly surreal,” says the band. “Sum 41 has been a massive influence on us, so having Cone co-write this song with us, produce it and sing on it is something we’d never think possible.”

Musically, “Generation Of Tomorrow” pairs the fast tempos and raw energy of classic punk with modern rock production and melodic choruses. Lyrically, the song offers a commentary on modern youth culture—specifically addressing a generation growing up in an increasingly screen-dominated world.

Rather than focusing solely on nostalgia, the band views the single as a step forward in defining their sound.

“‘Generation of Tomorrow’ isn’t about looking back,” Full Throttle explains. “It’s about taking everything that inspired us and turning it into something that’s ours.”
