A struggling British rocker and his emotionally frustrated girlfriend are on the verge of a breakup in the trailer for the rock music-themed relationship drama "Modern Life Is Rubbish," which stars Josh Whitehouse (Northern Soul) and Freya Mavor (TV's Skins) as the unhappy couple and comes with music from the likes of The Libertines, Radiohead, Stereophonics, The Vaccines, The Kooks, Warpaint and more.

Directed by Daniel Jerome Gill and written by Philip Gawthorne and based on their 2009 short film of the same name, the feature-length movie chronicles the love between an aspiring rock musician (Whitehouse) and a beautiful rock-n-roll enthusiast (Mavor), who, despite their shared passion for rock music, have reached a breaking-point in their ten-year relationship.
