Vancouver-based melodic punk band The Highsides has released the single "Bad Moments" as an introduction to their sound for new listeners and media. While the track will not appear on their upcoming EP, it serves as a showcase of the band's foundation, energy, and songwriting.

Combining influences such as PUP, A Wilhelm Scream, The Flatliners, and NoTrigger with a West Coast Canadian edge, the band features honest songwriting, gritty vocals, and high-energy punk rock.

The band is currently in the studio completing work on a new EP, with further single releases and announcements expected in the coming months. Expressing excitement about their direction, band member Shane noted that the group is deep into recording and looking forward to sharing new music.
