Texas pop-punk band Dear You have released 'Fault Line,' the latest preview of their debut album, The Thread, which is out now.

According to the band, "Fault Line" was inspired by one of the most difficult periods in the songwriter's life, with the lyrics reflecting on personal struggles while maintaining the band's signature melodic pop-punk sound.

The single follows a string of recent releases, including "Black Cat," "Lost Years," and "2328," all of which will appear on The Thread. Formed in Austin in 2009, Dear You blend pop-punk, emo, and alternative rock, drawing inspiration from bands such as Four Year Strong, blink-182, and The Wonder Years. After an early run of EPs and singles, the band returned with new music in 2025 ahead of their forthcoming full-length.
