Western Mass trio, Hedge, have released "Ice Rink" — the second single from their upcoming EP titled Freeze Frame High Five. "Ice Rink" wrestles with finding time to follow your passions while being swept up in the grind of working and adulthood. In under two minutes, Hedge blasts through this bouncy pop-punk throwback with conviction that will make you hit pause at work and escape to the "ice rink."

"'Ice Rink' is an upbeat, sunny song that reminds me of some of my favorite 90s pop-punkers, like Sicko or Fastbacks. Beneath its cheer, though, is an attempt to contract the reality of work, sidelining our passions with a call to keep pursuing what brings us joy anyway. "Get out to the ice tonight" is essentially shorthand for doing and prioritizing whatever makes you happy despite the systemic limitations of capitalism." - Christopher Chaisson (guitar & vocals).

Freeze Frame High Five will be released on Friday, March 27th and limited edition vinyl pre-orders are available now from Best Brother Records. Hedge will be touring throughout New England between February and April.
