We are happy to premiere the video for Stealing Home's take on Post Malone's 2019 number one hit single 'Circles'. Check out how these Bay Area pop punks take the original's melancholic groove and don it in a punk rock jacket.
About their choice to cover the song: "As musicians, we have an eclectic taste in regard to our influences. With ‘Circles,' we couldn’t think of a better way to capture that motivation than to jettison it into our weird little world of pop punk. Once we had a demo down that we felt traversed traditional genre expectations, we knew we had to take it from the studio and make a fun video that pays homage to its fantastic source material.”
Since their inception in early 2018, Stealing Home, a punk pop outfit from the San Francisco Bay Area, have been hard at work writing music that captures the edge and nostalgia of the early 2000’s while incorporating intricate rhythms with modern pop sensibility.
