Rising Toronto punk band Like Pacific is streaming their new album "Distant Like You Asked" now! The record will be released via Pure Noise Records on February 19th and is available for pre-order now.

Guitarist Luke Holmes tells: "We recorded most of the record with Sam Guaiana and a couple tracks with Derek Hoffman. They both really challenged us to embrace a lot more of our poppy-er riffs and ideas. We've always thought of ourselves as more of a no frills punk band than anything else. This time however, we sorta took a step out of our heavier, more aggressive comfort zone and used a lot of parts and ideas that we wouldn't typically have thought to use on this record. We're stoked on how 'Distant Like You Asked' turned out. We hope you dig this album from front to back".

When asked about the meaning behind the record, fellow axeman Greg Hall says: "'Distant Like You Asked' is a cumulative representation of frustrations, anxieties and sadness that occurred over the course of 2015. Heartbreak, loss and void consumes everybody. We want people to relate to this record in a very personal way".
