Dutch garage punk outfit MIKKI WOOD have released 'HUNDREDS,' the first single from their upcoming EP, which is scheduled for release later this year.
The new track marks the band's first new material since the release of their 2024 debut album, High On The Moon. Drawing on influences ranging from 1960s garage rock to punk acts such as The Clash, The Stooges, and The Sonics, MIKKI WOOD continue to deliver their blend of raw riffs, melodic hooks, and high-energy punk rock.
Since forming in 2018, the band has steadily built a name for itself on the Dutch underground circuit. Following the release of their 2019 7-inch EP A Johnny Is A-Comin' / Burning Heart, MIKKI WOOD toured extensively before releasing High On The Moon. The band also gained further exposure through appearances at Popronde in 2024, followed by performances at Eurosonic and Jera On Air in 2025.
"HUNDREDS" also introduces MIKKI WOOD's expanded five-piece lineup. After performing for years as a trio, the band has added a second guitarist and a keyboard player, bringing a broader and more dynamic sound to its latest material.
