Mental Gymnast has officially announced their upcoming third EP, set for release on November 20. Fans can get their first taste of the new music, as the lead single “The Cheerleader Died And We’re All Doomed”.

What began as a casual conversation at Fest between the band’s vocalist Adam Gecking (Say-10 Records) and Scotty Sandwich (DTFH Records, Wolvesx4, Almost People, Worthington’s Law) quickly took on a life of its own. Bonding over a mutual appreciation for bands like Ruiner, the pair set out to launch a new project. Scotty began crafting the music from his Durham, North Carolina studio, while the rest of the lineup organically came together through years of friendships built in the punk and hardcore scene.

The group has since assembled a stacked roster of veterans, featuring Erica Clayton (Binary Heart, Reclawed, Freya Wilcox and the Howl), Chris Ruckus (Dissidente, Mutiny, Stuck Lucky), Jon Greco (Dog Park Dissidents, Binary Heart, Reclawed), and drummer Sam (formerly of Sarah and the Safe Word, currently in Cascadent).
