Leeds melodic punk quartet SUNLINER are delighted to announce their return as they unveil their latest Frank Turner-produced single, with ‘Special Place In Hell’ set for release on 15th September 2021 (pre-order). To celebrate the news the band are streaming the b-side in full today—an anthemic score of melodic punk titled ‘Old Habits’.

Commenting on the track, front man Jake McAlister said: "'Old Habits' came together really quickly, having our own practice space has given us an amazing chance to workshop our songs and really explore each part and experiment with structures. Lyrically, it's from the perspective of somebody towards the end of their life, reflecting and struggling with their situation and ultimately giving advice never to waste a moment.”

Following up on their 2020 release ‘Structure / Average At Best’, Sunliner teamed up with renowned punk folk troubadour Frank Turner who helped to bring their latest singles to fruition producing and engineering the material. “It was absolutely amazing to work with Frank, we spent a weekend working on the songs at his studio on the coast, his producing was invaluable, and his enthusiasm is infectious!" explains Jake.

Camera in hand, the band documented their time in the studio with Turner, compiling footage together to form the music video for ‘Old Habits’ also released today.
