Seattle grunge outfit Gruntruck are announcing the release of a "lost" third album as well as debuting a live footage video for lead single "Bar Fly".

Gruntruck, formed by members of Skin Yard, was best known as the longtime openers for Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees and Pantera, but due to legal issues with their label and the death of their lead singer, only released two albums. A third album was recorded from '97-'99 but never released, until this October 13 via Found Recordings!

The album was recorded in multiple Seattle-area studios between 1997 and 2002 with legendary producer Jack Endino (who produced their previous two full-lengths and an EP) and Martin Feveyear, but its release was delayed due to McMillan’s deteriorating health from diabetes and never saw the light of day. The finished album languished in the vaults until 2016, when Endino mentioned its existence to Found Recordings head, Scott Blum, who enthusiastically embarked on a journey with the band to bring the album to the world. And now they will be bringing it to you. The band is planning shows for later in the year in honor of Ben McMillan with several guest singers.
